Print Spooler error message when setting up printer or printing documents

To resolve this problem, refer to the following steps below:

1. Open Registry Editor. To do this, go to Start button then click on Run. Type in REGEDIT then press OK.

For Vista/Windows 7: Click on Vista button, and type REGEDIT in search bar then press enter.

2. Navigate to the following branch: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services \Spooler

3. In the right-pane, double-click the DependOnService value Delete the existing data, and then type RPCSS
Close Regedit.exe

4. Restart the computer.

5. This should resolve the problem.
